My body knows something is off, something is diffe

My body knows something is off, something is different.

I realized today that normally at this time, I would be shipping out our “Mama Needs Coffee” boxes for March. It’s so strange to not be doing that right now.

This was one of my favorite themes we did. I’ve been imagining what I would’ve put inside this year. Definitely the two all-time favorites: @madd_ox_coffee and the coffee whipped sugar scrub from @kandssoapworks. I loved the whole process of putting boxes together from start to finish.

And yet, I’m so at peace with my decision to close Mama Needs Box + Podcast. Joy + sorrow co-existing is normal.

So, I’m just drinking my coffee this morning, thinking of all of you as you go about your days beautifully mothering your children and wondering when in the world to fit in some self-care. It’s there, in the nooks & crannies of your life. Remember that it’s a practice; you won’t always be great at sneaking it in. But little by little, you have permission to remember to get that refill.

You matter, Mama. 🥰

I have tried to type this out and hit “post” so many times. I’ve been holding onto this tension of sadness, but also contentment and it’s time to share what’s been on my heart.

After 4 years of amazing business and sending thousands of beautiful boxes to Mamas all over the country in all 50 states and territories, I’ve made the decision to close Mama Needs Box for good.

In addition, “The Mama Needs Podcast” will be on pause for the foreseeable future as I reflect and pray about what’s next. For my dear listeners, or even if you’ve never listened, all of the 100+ encouraging episodes for Moms will stay right where they are if you want to listen anytime.

Mama Needs Box + the Podcast have been some of my greatest achievements. I learned a ton. I made mistakes. I had huge wins and successes. I took risks. I made some amazing new friends with customers and fellow small business owners.

Most importantly, I saw Moms start taking care of themselves, which in turn will change their families forever. That right there is my biggest success. I will never forget this time and I am forever grateful for those who supported my small business.

🛑 2 IMPORTANT NOTES:

1️⃣ Some of you are waiting on refunds from prepaid subscriptions. Thank you for your patience through this process! My goal is to have all refunds processed by the end of February/early March. You will receive an email directly when your refund is processed.

2️⃣ Before we close for good, I will be having a big Warehouse SALE! More details will be coming soon on that!

Thank you again for any part you had in supporting Mama Needs Box + Podcast. I’m looking forward to what God has for me next. And, as always: You matter, Mama.
