✨ SELF-CARE TIP TUESDAY ✨

Slow down, Mama. Why? Because slowing down helps us practice gratitude, brings us joy and fills us up!

Here are some ways to help you slow down this week:

1. Wake up a little earlier than everyone else. That could be the most quiet you have all day. Enjoy every minute.

2. Drink a cup of hot coffee or tea to help you slow down and savor the taste and flavor.

3. Sit down. Take a load off, even for 5 minutes.

4. Journal some things you are thankful for that day.

5. Do one thing you love: read a book, knit/crochet/sew, call a friend, paint, listen to music – whatever you love to do!

6. Take a walk alone or with the stroller and/or toddler in tow. Go slow and take notice of the small things. The way the clouds move or the new flowers starting to bloom. Kids are so good at this!

7. Take a long, hot bath or shower. Do the things you normally don’t get to do like using that special bubble bath or bath bomb.

8. Play a game. The laundry can wait – slow down and play a game with your kids. Keep it light and fun!

9. Have a dance party! Let loose and goof off with your kiddos.

10. Remember that you are amazing. You are doing a hard work, Mama. Never forget that you matter, too.
