✨ SELF-CARE TIP TUESDAY ✨ – A virtual survival kit for Mamas!
Like many of you, my kids are home from school for at least 2 weeks. The future is uncertain. Maybe you have confirmed cases of COVID-19 where you live. Anxiety is high.
One way I decrease anxiety and continue to live my life is by being prepared! I read the facts (from the CDC not random facebook posts) and I work to prepare my home and family for whatever is to come. It’s all out of our control but as long as I can control something, I feel a little bit better!
I’ve come up with an activity to help with this that I hope you’ll use and translate it to your own family and your needs!
Make a coronavirus survival kit! Grab a box, basket or something to hold it all and grab supplies that you already have to fill it! Thanks to some awesome Mamas who gave suggestions in our fb group and on insta stories for what they would put in their own survival kit!
Take a look at what’s inside ours!
- Hand sanitizer
- Snacks
- A booklet I had our kids make with facts about the coronavirus and ways to prevent it.
- iPad/Kindle/Tablet
- Vitamins
- Toys
- Books
- Drawing supplies
- Card games
- Puzzles
- Work from school to complete
- Chocolate
What would you put in yours?

Isn’t it amazing to see all of the businesses out there stepping up and filling in the gap for newly homeschooling parents? It’s been amazing to watch the generosity. Even Disney+ released Frozen 2 three months early for kids whose schools are closed! It’s been on repeat in our house…
This is not an exhaustive list but just some links I found or people sent me and I hope they’re helpful! I can’t wait to use them myself!
